Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies HypeGale uses on hypegale.com, why, and how you can change your mind. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What we use

NameProviderPurposeLifetime
_gaGoogle Analytics (Google)Distinguishes visitors so we can count how many people read each article.2 years
_ga_QJLF2302EZGoogle Analytics (Google)Keeps session state for our Google Analytics property.2 years
hypegale_cookie_consentHypeGale (local storage)Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies.Until you clear your browser data or change your choice

The two Google Analytics cookies are the only cookies we set for visitors. We do not currently use advertising networks or social-media tracking pixels. Sponsored placements are placed by us and measured with anonymous click events in Google Analytics.

Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we do not set analytics or advertising cookies until you accept. Elsewhere, analytics runs until you choose Reject. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.

If you reject, Google Analytics may still receive a limited, cookieless signal (such as the page viewed and a timestamp) so that we can model overall traffic. It is not used to follow you from site to site.

You can change your choice at any time:

You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across all sites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Changes and questions

If we add new cookies or partners, we will update this page and ask for your choice again where the law requires it. Questions? Email contactus@hypegale.com.
